Am I late......or early?
So this week I have something knitted to show you....
Yes ok...it IS a Christmas jumper. I started it in December. But it is knitted in 4-ply so took aaaaages and grew really slowly! It is a pattern from Ravelry and is based on a 1940s style. Jess (eldest daughter) is really ino all things 1940s so it was her choice. I even managed to find some vintage buttons from my stash; although I think they are more 60s than 40s!
She is away at Uni so I posted it to her. Apparently it fits beautifully.
Another UFO bites the dust.

That dreaded "C" word...
I took a break from finishing off bits this week and have tried to get organised for Christmas. I have started my shopping and also some making AND made my cakes.
And all cooked! On Monday I went to see Burn and Linda at the cabin and we made christmassy paper so I decided to start making my cards using that....
All ready to go in the oven. I say "cakes" because I decided to make one for Jess to take back to Uni with her after Christmas!
I'm not going to show you any closer otherwise they won't be a surprise when you get one will they? I still have to make a few more however so that is todays job.

Yes it's coming!!!
Don't faint but I have started my Christmas cards! Last Monday I went to Burn's cabin and had a rummage in her stamps! Linda was there too with her christmassy ones, so we had a swap about of images. This one was Burn's, stamped in a brown. When I brought it home, I matted it on that lovely bazzil called "raisin". Then I broke open my new pad of My Mind's Eye christmas papers which are all glittery and delicious, to use for the next mat on a green card! Simple but made fab with this lovely stamp!
Think this one was Burn's too; stamped in grey this time and mounted on some gold and christmas scraps with some gold ribbon.
This is a stamp I bought for this year. I whiled away an afternoon or two putting different glitter and stickers and gems on this (and the following one) which I then took to Burn's to make up into cards. I have done these in several different colours so I can use up my scraps.

So a few more to go I think!
